The Bowie Effect

It's hard not to be affected by the sad news of the loss of one of the biggest and brightest stars in music. With all the celebration of his music on every radio station it is also a time to reflect on his enormous influence in design.

The flamboyant characters he created has influenced fashion through several decades, he embraced and influenced many designers work. Bowie's theatrical stage performances were renowned for their content which all added to the creativity in his music; he stood for acceptance and gave us all the license to be exactly who we wanted to be. You will be missed.
